Many cultural hands make the Australian way of life work

This article talks about ethical issues on the cultural tradition on Australia's national day which celebrates patriotism of their country. The issue being addressed in the article is about whether the holiday shows racism or offensiveness to the native peoples of Australia. The national holiday isn't just about showing patriotism it also celebrates the invasion of Europeans on the indigenous peoples living there at the time. This is a issue between ethnic and cultural issues within Australia in celebrating this national holiday. The article also talks about how even though Australia has a large diversity of ethnic groups which creates a lack of "homogeneous" traits between every Australian but the Australian way of life is still distinctive. And over all Australia hasn't had much issue with minority groups, immigrants tend to like their opportunities in the country. Australia has allowed multiculturalism to flourish within the national civic cultural limits.
